Marty was the first photographer with whom I struck up a friendship and remains as one of the few photographers with whom I have any real contact with. This is despite the fact that we have never met, the internet being the blessing (and occasional curse...) that it is, we have been in touch for almost a decade now, via occasional phone calls and instand messaging and it was my very real pleasure to write the introduction for his first book. I love the innocence in his work, even when his images take on the realms of BDSM there is an air of playfulness in what he does - as well as his fixation on the female foot - we may both share an interest in rope work, but that is one fetish which i will happily leave to him to explore.
