I first found Yoshitaka Kawakami's work in a "I saw this and thought of you" mail i received, containing one of his wonderful images. I was very impressed with the piece, though sadly my correspondent didn't know who the artist was. So I began mailing people who i thought might know and got a few responses telling me they thought the image looked like something i would come up with. I finally found myself pointed to Yoshitaka Kawakami's website (linked to below) and recognised many of the images that i had seen around before and been equally impressed with - so it was very nice to realise that these all came from the same artist. We have struck up an occasional correspondence and i have even paid homage with of my recent photos and my thanks go to Yoshitaka for allowing me to feature his work here. |
